of matriarchy to patriarchy.
The first societies, the oldest, were matriarchal ... there are myths that suggest that at some point they were and for various reasons unsubstantiated lost power and were the men who began his reign and imposed their authority forming patriarchal societies.
And what were the reasons for the change of matriarchal to patriarchal societies?
There are several points of view and arias theories about what caused the change. Among others, the most important are:
1 - The development of civilizations, increased agricultural production and increases the sense of ownership. This basically was a conflict of interest and thus developed a more complex form of political control that included men. Increasing population tribes banded together and fought and conquered. Coincidentally, the tribes were governed by more men that were due. These tribes belonged to the Tumulus Culture, Culture of urnfield, the Battle Axe Culture of the Volga, Baltic cultures, the megalithic culture Nordic Culture of Globular amphorae and pottery Culture climber. About this would have much to say ... but just wanted to write a few small strokes.
2 ª - The development of civilization was a distinction and separation of male and female roles. Basically, man is separated from reproductive role associated with women and all women, focusing on other qualities, such as bodily (physically strong). By increasing the differences between men and women appear logically disputes, with the winners of these more aggressive.
3 - Finally, in relation the previous point, the transition from matriarchy to patriarchy occurred when the man began to sense that in reproduction, it had a role as important as women. Until then, the play was meant as a gift of the Goddess Nature (Nature used to encompass any other interpretation of the Goddess). The result of the "repression" understood by men, was to seize power.
Possibly, none of the three options is completely correct. And all are complementary. I hope you have fun.
