Or training?
This is a discussion in my grupete have extended to the limit. Everyone who knows me a little knows my taste for "diet candy", so I imagine my position ...
I stand in the belief (waiting for me out of here) that to "run faster " (we agree that the term rapidity is very subjective) I need is to retrain my legs before my appetite.
And yes, I also think that everyone (with a minimum of preparation) can run slowly enough for a long time, but not to the contrary.

My view has always been that there are many other things (or amend errors) in my training, rather than blaming some more kgs, and my performance is not a reflection of weight, or put another way, my weight does not necessarily dictate my performance ... maybe if there is something that reflects my level of motivation is .. but never will become a constraint on my training.
I want to emphasize that 1) I talk about running fast, obviously the large distances, where NO not running fast, simply to be efficient, and 2) to grassroots levels, where 95% frame of ballooners and Trigloberos.

I've run in many ways and many different weights since I practice this ... From my nearly 80 kgs when I was meat gym, going through about 68 kgs which left me face-skull, rising again to about 75kgs of chocolate fillings, up to 73kgs with my last test I ran this year's walk ... and you know I say (and I firmly believe in it ..)? That each of the results was determined by my form, and not always my fitness was determined by my weight.
* At this point I recognize that This is getting a bit confusing (even for me), I just hope no one think what kind of drugs I take ...
The event, which this year has been at the highest level that I reached on foot, some I said that despite little training and other is said that thanks to coaching more than story here ... but that is another matter. ;-)

All this is not intended to contravene all theories of training, I'm not stupid ... ;) I, and everyone fairly knowledgeable about sports tensile will and this means carrying an extra load of 10kgs on his back in terms of "energy efficiency", but at the same time, I am opposed to the thought that to yield an "acceptable level" (the term as subjective as that of the speed ) you look like that "yonkiniano."

Again, I speak from the perspective of the popular sport of guys who will not run ever to win, to not be told the training base is in the diet of those who have to maximize their hours of training, they do 40 kms per week and may not be of much use to them jogging for 80% of those kms. That 90% of people for this sport is not just a hobby who want to enjoy the feeling "competitive", but also to indulge in other things, become a member of the Gourmet Club ... I do not know! ;-)
